Where your data lives
Gradebook Guardian runs inside your spreadsheet, under your Google account. It can read and edit only this one spreadsheet, and it has no permission to connect to anything outside it. We never receive student data and never see your file.
If something looks wrong
I don't see the Gradebook Guardian menu.
Reload the page and wait about 10 seconds. Make sure you're in your copy, not the original template.
It says the app is blocked or needs admin approval.
Your district limits scripts. Send your IT team the Dear IT Department page, which lists the exact permissions.
A score isn't counting.
Enter just the points earned as a number. Text like "8/10" or "late" isn't counted.
